A lot has changed with Pokémon cards from what I remember. If it's anything like Funko pops, I think the "GameStop exclusive" is what makes it special. Maybe they're limited? I would need to look more into it. Maybe someone with more knowledge can weigh in?

As a few said, much better to swallow at $40 than msrp of 60. Comes with chilling reign which is out of.print and price going up. Fusion strike is unofficially out of print and sold out at distribution centers, so expect price to go up. Evolving skies price is like 6$ now, but a lot of bundles out there that include them for cheaper. Promo cards are a bonus if you want/need them. It is an OK price if you don't want to overpay by a lot.

The original release of these boxes had 2BaSt, 3ES, and 5CR.

I'm pretty sure these ones have 2DA, 2FS, 2CR, 2ES, 1VV, and 1BrSt.

I had a 10$ credit and purchased this, really happy at 30 ok @ 40 and no way at 60 but that's just me

Haven't been playing pokemon since early days of 2000's, but wouldn't it be much cheaper if you were to buy singles? Rather than chance it on expensive, yet not great returns gambling on chances on getting the cards you want (I understand the fun in opening boosters).
