ABSOLUTE F*ING life changer!!! I LOVE my S7 MaxV Ultra. We have mostly hard floor with some sections of area rugs and it's amazing how this thing can manage to clean up everything. We have 3 cats, a bird, and a dog and I truly regret not getting this sooner. Now I only wish some of the refills go on sale as I am soon up for some replacements. The obstacle avoidance is impressive, and we also enjoy using it as a spy cam to watch our kitties when we're away. It's kinda hypnotic to just look at the camera stream when it's cleaning. The one thing I will mention though is that the dirty water tank does smell rank when you open it, so if you are disgusted by the thought of practically sewage sitting in that dock, you might want to clean the tank more often that when it's full.
Your comment is not helpful. What do you expect? Most of the products are made in China anyway.
And it's a vacuum, you worry on Chinese people knowing the map and layout of your house and how frequent you use the vacuum? Same thing will happen if this products is made in the US, US companies will also track the same data.
IMHO, i think this is not the best deal given it's call the Black Friday deals.
The discounted pricing is basically the same as past deals we have seen here. It's a shame, i was waiting to see the S7 MaxV Ultra, but it's still very pricey.
I was at my company gym the other day and one TV is on a commercial channel and I couldn't find the remote to change it to another one but anyway i spent my time on the thread mill watching that program about the Shark robot vacuum and it was actually impressive. Vacuum and mop. Does anyone here have that Shark AI self empty XL robot vacuum? How does it compared with any of these?
I've been running an S6 three times per week for 2.5 years. About 3 months ago, I started running every day. My house is 2200 sq ft, and the machine has functioned perfectly. It creates its own maps and doesn't go where it's not supposed to. It's been far more capable and trouble-free than my previous robot vacuum.
I have the s7 and I'm a little under whelmed. If you pick it up and move it manually it cannot find the dock, even if it is only a few feet away. It makes the oddest maps. It likes to create hallway like areas in my room and then zig zag down the hall instead of going the long way. Super strange.
Subjective, I know, but which model is the best value or bang for the buck
Folks, decide what you need. That's what gives you the best bang for the buck. There's no one answer. Don't get a sophisticated mop if you're just cleaning a studio apartment. Don't get mopping if you don't need it. Don't get auto-emptying if you have a small place or no pets. On the flip side, if you have multiple levels, pets, mix of floor types including carpet and tile, etc., then more features may be worth your investment.

Seems like the MaxV Ultra has a vibrating mop pad (like the old ecovacs) while the Omni has 2 rotating scrubbing pads.
