ABSOLUTE F*ING life changer!!! I LOVE my S7 MaxV Ultra. We have mostly hard floor with some sections of area rugs and it's amazing how this thing can manage to clean up everything. We have 3 cats, a bird, and a dog and I truly regret not getting this sooner. Now I only wish some of the refills go on sale as I am soon up for some replacements. The obstacle avoidance is impressive, and we also enjoy using it as a spy cam to watch our kitties when we're away. It's kinda hypnotic to just look at the camera stream when it's cleaning. The one thing I will mention though is that the dirty water tank does smell rank when you open it, so if you are disgusted by the thought of practically sewage sitting in that dock, you might want to clean the tank more often that when it's full.
Your comment is not helpful. What do you expect? Most of the products are made in China anyway.
And it's a vacuum, you worry on Chinese people knowing the map and layout of your house and how frequent you use the vacuum? Same thing will happen if this products is made in the US, US companies will also track the same data.
IMHO, i think this is not the best deal given it's call the Black Friday deals.
The discounted pricing is basically the same as past deals we have seen here. It's a shame, i was waiting to see the S7 MaxV Ultra, but it's still very pricey.
Ohh this looks tempting. I've been waiting for them to get a good discount to get the S7 Max V ultra or plus. š„ŗ the prices are similar to what amazing had not long ago.
I purchased the MaxV Ultra with the Empty/Wash/Fill dock and it is awesome! Far better than my existing Neato Botvac!
I have the S6 taking care of 2200 sq ft. It does a great job for me and it sweeps/vacuums my tile areas, vacuums the carpets, and mops. It works really well for me.
Things to consider:
Mopping requires you to attach the water tank. It isn't as automatic as sweeping/vacuuming.
The S6 doesn't automatically empty its rubbish bin. With my mixture of carpet and tile, I have to empty the bin container 2-3 times per week. There are other models that can empty the container automatically at the charging dock. If you are all tile and 850 square feet, you can probably get by with weekly emptying.
I don't care about automatic empty since it's small place. So S6 is okay?
Hmm S6 is not on Black Friday sale, so S7?

if you just need vacuum I think all of them, S5, S6 and S7 are pretty similar. If you don't care for automatic empty either S6 or S7 will do. If you need mopping then S7 Max Ultra is the way to go.
I've been running an S6 three times per week for 2.5 years. About 3 months ago, I started running every day. My house is 2200 sq ft, and the machine has functioned perfectly. It creates its own maps and doesn't go where it's not supposed to. It's been far more capable and trouble-free than my previous robot vacuum.
Tariq,
I didn't mention it by name because it was an earlier generation machine from iRobot called Braava 380t. I say it was an earlier generation, but they are still selling it. It was a mopping robot that wasn't capable of creating maps or self-starting. It broke down most frequently due to the treads on the wheels. It also managed to get stuck on a regular basis. Having a wet robot sit in one spot on an engineered hardwood floor all night was problematic.
It didn't create maps, it used a separate cube to know where it was in a room. The amount of effort it took to prepare a room for the robot, and to prepare the robot itself, made it almost useless. Even with its infrequent use, it had frequent problems.
Can you add cleaning solution to the water without damaging anything? We have 5 dogs and I usually mop with Mr. Clean Pet to neutralize any pet smells.
I have a Roomba now, but not a very smart one. Looking to spoil ME and go for the all out cleaning bot, but some seem to want to mop with water only.
Thank you!

Yeah you can add their official cleaning soliton (Omo) to the water but that is out of stock now. I've seen people added other solutions from other brand like Roomba and they work fine. I have 2 bulldogs and they shed like no tomorrow, Max Ultra is a life saver. Roomba is garbage compared to Roborock. I switched over 3 years ago to S4 first and never look back.

* Just spoke to a rep from their website and currently it's only going to be available on their website.
