ABSOLUTE F*ING life changer!!! I LOVE my S7 MaxV Ultra. We have mostly hard floor with some sections of area rugs and it's amazing how this thing can manage to clean up everything. We have 3 cats, a bird, and a dog and I truly regret not getting this sooner. Now I only wish some of the refills go on sale as I am soon up for some replacements. The obstacle avoidance is impressive, and we also enjoy using it as a spy cam to watch our kitties when we're away. It's kinda hypnotic to just look at the camera stream when it's cleaning. The one thing I will mention though is that the dirty water tank does smell rank when you open it, so if you are disgusted by the thought of practically sewage sitting in that dock, you might want to clean the tank more often that when it's full.

Your comment is not helpful. What do you expect? Most of the products are made in China anyway.

And it's a vacuum, you worry on Chinese people knowing the map and layout of your house and how frequent you use the vacuum? Same thing will happen if this products is made in the US, US companies will also track the same data.

IMHO, i think this is not the best deal given it's call the Black Friday deals.

The discounted pricing is basically the same as past deals we have seen here. It's a shame, i was waiting to see the S7 MaxV Ultra, but it's still very pricey.

Will Target price match this? Will be good to get another 5% off on redcard
When I look at the target app, it is already marked down to match.

this item is a perfect example of law of diminishing returns. you are not getting anything better buy paying $1K+

you can buy a separate smart mop and vac for a fraction of the cost and have basically same if not a better cleaning outcome. if one breaks, you can replace it independently.

but as everything new, one must recover the R&D and marketing cost. this deal is not a bad product, it's just a bad (very bad) price. but we do need fools to buy it, so that 3-5 years from now same mop-vac will cost $200 and we will have plethora to select from.
Which separate vac is better than S7 MaxV Ultra for just vacuuming and no mop?

There's no better separate mop robot with self wash or self empty vacuum than the S7 Max Ultra. Roomba m6 is pure garbage compared to this, and iRobot's AI is a disaster.

S7 Max Ultra is top of the line, best of the best, and in my book tech product of the year 2022. Don't knock it until you try it.

How effective/convenient is the device for multi-level houses. I don't mind manually taking it to each floor. Does it remember and do a good job on each floor.

Braava jet m6 is actually a really good dedicated mop at $300. No self wash, but you're going to want to change out the pads regularly anyway for best results.

I own both.

This looks like a complete package but still pricey, can anyone suggest what would be little ok at 500 range with vacuum and mop combination

Just got the ultra. Anyone know if the drying module is needed as well or just a waste of money? I live in the northeast, so not particularly humid or dry. Any help here is greatly appreciated! Happy Thanksgiving!

Got and received the maxv plus. Setup was easy and robot works fine. Quick mapping probably took 20+ min and was efficient. It recognized some furniture like sofa.

The package contains one mop only and 3 bags or so. I also ordered the cyclone dust bin as well because buying bags is going to be expensive I think long term but have not received it.
The water container is quite small on the maxv plus and i can understand why ultra is better. Also not yet sure what i can put in the water container outside plain water or the roborock product they sell (vinegar?).

M6 is garbage compared to this. M6 is really good if you like:
- constantly having to refill water/solution because of small water reservoir
- wait 2-3 hours to clean a few rooms because battery is tiny and it needs to go back to recharge constantly
- super slow cleaning
- constantly having to change pad because self-cleaning mop robot doesn't exist, wait…
- app often can't locate m6
- m6 gets lost because bad AI and map

If that's what you like I would say m6 is really good. But I returned m6 to Costco after getting Ultra and couldn't be happier.

Yes unless you want the base station to smell like a toilet

as the ultra cleans the mop, may be it helps with the smell to dry it faster. dry without and if you notice smell then buy it.

You can get their official solution (Omo). It's pretty good and one bottle lasts a long time because it's concentrated.

As I said, I own both and disagree. The m6 absolutely does a better job mopping in my experience. Not saying the ultra is bad, but you were clearly trying to mentally justify your expenditure with superlatives in your response to the other person, and the ultra isn't the magical panacea you represent it as. Never-mind the security concerns of having a full color, mobile video camera inside your house.

It's good, but whether it justifies this price tag is absolutely debatable.

I don't need to mentally justify anything. Which of the cons I listed above are false? I used m6 for awhile and it absolutely does not do a better job at mopping. The mopping is so slow you would be better off to just take swifter pad and do it yourself. Roll that $300 into a top of line robot vacuum with self cleaning and empty and yes the price of Ultra is fair when it's on sale.
Lol at security concern. I don't care someone knows my floor layout or pictures of furnitures. Let me know how we can monetize that info.
