ABSOLUTE F*ING life changer!!! I LOVE my S7 MaxV Ultra. We have mostly hard floor with some sections of area rugs and it's amazing how this thing can manage to clean up everything. We have 3 cats, a bird, and a dog and I truly regret not getting this sooner. Now I only wish some of the refills go on sale as I am soon up for some replacements. The obstacle avoidance is impressive, and we also enjoy using it as a spy cam to watch our kitties when we're away. It's kinda hypnotic to just look at the camera stream when it's cleaning. The one thing I will mention though is that the dirty water tank does smell rank when you open it, so if you are disgusted by the thought of practically sewage sitting in that dock, you might want to clean the tank more often that when it's full.
Your comment is not helpful. What do you expect? Most of the products are made in China anyway.
And it's a vacuum, you worry on Chinese people knowing the map and layout of your house and how frequent you use the vacuum? Same thing will happen if this products is made in the US, US companies will also track the same data.
IMHO, i think this is not the best deal given it's call the Black Friday deals.
The discounted pricing is basically the same as past deals we have seen here. It's a shame, i was waiting to see the S7 MaxV Ultra, but it's still very pricey.
I haven't seen one of these since the Roborock S4. Jeez. They just kept adding on things every year haven't they? The thing looks like a transformer on crack.
Got mine, so far battery life is super unimpressive! Essentially drops 1% a minute.
You probably got a lemon. Sorry to hear that.
We received ours and ran it. Ran vacuum first for approx 40 min then mopped for another 40 min. It was down to 60% battery left. You should probably return yours.
Got my regular S7 and I like it. I've had a few robot vacuums and they've all left me disappointed. So far this works great and I like using it on multiple floors. I wanted the ultra but couldn't justify spending $1000 just so I could be too lazy to empty a bin and refill a mop.

Good call, as they are likely to introduce a new one between January and March, if they follow their cadence.

Wow, are there that many people on slick deals that can afford a $1,000 vacuum? I must be doing something wrong in life.
If you spend $2000 total for the unit, maintenance and keeping solution over 5 years of twice weekly use you are paying about $0.26 an hour. Even for a slickdealer that's one heck of a bargain. Surely, your time is worth more than $0.26 an hour.
At least, that is how I justified it to the wife, lol.
I'm a big fan of robot vacuums. I have a few Wyze ones (best low cost vacuum IMO) and one Roomba, which makes nice lines on carpets but the mapping is annoying for me lately.
Anyway, I've never tried mopping. Is the mopping actually good these days?
Yes, good mopping robots have finally arrived. There are two others that are very good, but all the reviewers said this one is the best. Check out some utoob videos, this thing does a fantastic job. I used to use two of those little iRobot mops and they sucked so I went back to steam mopping.
This unit is nice because it cleans the mop pad and also lifts the mop pad while vacuuming so you don't have to mess with the pad too much. Very low maintenance, but you know there is always some level of maintenance with Robot vacs/mops.
Never spent $1000 on one before this, but saving the time it takes to mop makes it worth while.
ps I forgot to mention the biggest flaw I saw with this unit in reviews is fine pet hair on very low/short carpet. Medium and regular carpet is fine and I think if you have shag carpets you would need to take the mop pad off to vacuum because it only lifts the mop pad so high to avoid rubbing on carpet.

Is there a websit that reviews plus vs ultra? I want to pick one but not sure which one? I have Roomba and braava. Will both of these upgrades? I also don't like look of ultra.
There's so many models now, this is crazy. I've been running the S4 for the last year and it's great. Spending 1,000 dollars on a vacuum though.....is this inflation at work or is this thing really worth that much money?
If we're taking our rulers out…. There is a difference in being able to afford this thing and being smart enough knowing that this thing is grossly overpriced in the US market.

Does anyone know the vertical clearance this requires? I have a bed that my Deebot t8+ aivi would go under but for some reason my Samsung Jetbot+ won't go under it even they its approx the same height as the Deebot. Thinking about getting the s7 maxv ultra and moving the Jetbot upstairs
