Cross shopped this with Asis Vivobook in store. HP battery is small at 40 whr vs Asus 70 wh battery. Also screen while nice is no match for ASUS OLED. Discrete graphics is a plus over the Asus. I ended buying Asus as I intend to use more for work purposes and not gaming. 16:10 screen is nice to have too.

I add that the build is also more "plasticy" than the Asus. Still a decent build quality for the price compared to lower end HP's and Ideapad 3 for example.
