B&H Deal of the Day - Delkin "Power" 512GB CFexpress card (type B). 1500 MB/s write speed, 1700 MB/s read. Fast enough for up to 6K video. B&H charges sales tax unless you have their house credit card. Shipping is free.

I bought one of these for use with my Canon R5 & R3 the last time they had this deal. Great performer for fast photo bursts. I don't use much video so can't comment on that. I bought a second one with this deal & will sell one of my smaller cards.

Yeah I have a 128GB Angelbird that's been rock solid. For me the difference is Delkin has a lifetime warranty and Angelbird is a few years.

Seems the low end Angelbird have flat transfer rate around 800. Other brand new could reach 1200MB/sec or more and drop after cache used up.

I don't see any reason to buy this over Angelbird 512GB AV PRO CFexpress 2.0 Type B SE ($179) for the difference of $10, even with this huge discount. Of course, Angelbird has a lower maximum write speed (850MB/s) but has 800MB/s of sustained write speed, which allows 8K raw recording. On the other hand, this Delkin doesn't specify the sustained write speed, so I guess it is around 350MB/s or so, as usual. Otherwise, they would've said it is compatible with 8K raw recording.

As I mentioned earlier, Delkin has a lifetime warranty. Angelbird's is a few years. Also Delkin customer service is U.S. based. Angelbird's is in Austria. Nothing against Angelbird, I have one of their cards, and no complaints. But, especially since I don't shoot much video, and never 8K, I find Delkin the safer bet, plus save $10.

I get your point. But my question is---if you are planning to use it for more than 3 years (that Angelbird's warranty offers) why not pick up something that is more future-proof? Fast sustained write is also required for high-speed burst shots in photography.

Truly slick! Delkin cards are way cooler than Sandisk ones. Constant writing spend for this card is more than 800
