I think the deal is the mostly uniform $1/lb pricing. I've been looking at the 15's for a while and this is teh first time I 've seen them at $1/lb. Got a set.

Good deal. I picked up a set of 25 lbs for when I get the strength to use those daily. Smilie

Of course, I built up my collection of hex dumbells literally just before this last round of sales hit the market (this one and Amazon's recent sales).

I know it's not directly related to the deal, but on my cruise last month, I found it hilarious and perplexing why the on-board gym had round dumbbells. They were just rolling around with every wave. They could have used these...

Your comment led me to check Rogue's website and they do have poly-wrapped hex dumbbells for $1/#. Unfortunately, the shipping for 2 15# weights was $35!
