Decent price but we all know this is going to be dirt cheap in the spring when they clear it out (have done so every year). last year the 360 PRO version was like 350 for 8gb and 450ish for the 16gb. That's the Pro version.
Samsung again being sneaky with product pics suggesting this supports touch and s pen .. they need to stop this
I mean...I have the first Book 360 Pro with the S-Pen...it's neat but it's not like a deal breaker and you can get them for cheap. It really doesn't do much, and doesn't stick to the laptop well enough to leave it close by (it sticks to the back but you can easily knock it off, and you can't fold it into a tablet with it on the back). Other than that I think this beats the book1 pro 360 in every way. Brighter screen, way faster CPU, personally I like the ports instead of having 3 usbc
How much better is the Pro version over this, I'm curious. At $800 that's really pushing it in price.
That's like a 20% price increase though. For the CPU improvement and OLED screen. What are you doing that a i7-1155g7 isn't sufficient for?
It's actually less than 20% and within my original budget of $600. Initially I had gotten an open box excellent of the 2021 Flex2 Alpha for the early Black Friday Best Buy deal for $462 + 6% MD tax = $503.
But this 2022 Galaxy Book2 360 is $599 + 6% MD Tax - $72 from the CB site = around $560 for me.
It's the USB Charging + the Thunderbolt port that I want. I want to do try some casual PC gaming on this because my main computer is a MacBook Pro and PC gaming on that's annoying. The thunderbolt port would let me connect an external card to it. Plus I'm hoping the keyboard backlight issue with it always going out is solved in the 2022 model.
The better screen + CPU are helpful too, but not my main drivers for my purchase. I placed my order last night and it should arrive in a few days. I went with silver in the hopes that it will be less smudgy than the graphite Flex2 that I have. Would love if it it's less slippery too, if not, I'm interested in a clear rubbery case if it exists.

Would be really stupid to design a 360 hinge (hence the name) and not have touchscreen.

Don't need though 😂
Still have my Flex2 Alpha for same price from last year.
