I bought the $188 one and it was trash. Straight-on viewing was ..ok... but anything at even a slight angle and it was awful. This is the 55S41 $188 on Nov 8 or thereabouts, that I'm micro-reviewing.

I took it back, and I'll keep using a 2010 Sony; the Sony was superior. Frown

I have a TCL 55" 4 series since they dropped to $299… like back in 2017. Used in bedroom so it's only straight - on viewing, room isn't large enough to test wide angles. But we have been very happy with the TV at price paid.

Same model but you get 40% more screen with only a 21% increase in price. So price per square inch of screen area is cheaper on the 65"

In my defense, I was setting it up in a fairly dark room at night and for whatever reason didn't bother to turn on the main lights. I was annoyed by the same sticker after picking on it for 15 minutes and figured I'd mess with it more the next day. I felt like quite the doofus the next day when the sun was shining through the windows and my mistake was more apparent.

I have this exact TV. Has 4-8 vertical black lines after 2 years. Unrepairable (replace the boards to no avail) But it's so cheap I guess I can replace it when it inevitable dies every 2 years.

I bought the 65'' insignia from Best Buy. Many say it's Hisense but I just read the reviews and it's been the best tv up to date plus it came with a echo 5 show. I think the deal exists but there giving the echo 3 speaker now. If you buy through urlhasbeenblocked I think you will get some dollars there back too.

Delivered today and the screen is cracked on top center. When Fedex delivered it the middle plastic strap on the exterior of the box tore into it. The tv looked fine until I plugged it in and then you could see the cracked screen. Ughhh. I know it is an easy return but it will not be replaced by Walmart due to product unavailability.
