Everytime these offers come up and are from Steelseries themselves I have to advise you to wait to see if a price match happens elsewhere. Steelseries has pretty bad support and refund policies. I thought it was an exaggeration when folks spoke unfavorable about buying directly from them but it was a terrible experience when I grabbed a 7P+ last year and it had issues.

My regular 7s are great and I'm sure the 7p/x are too. Not sure if they ever fixed the transmitter issues with the + series though.

I can't speak for this particular headset but gosh darn steelseries makes some goood, comfortable and for me at least reliable headsets. I own way too many headsets to buy this one but I am tempted.

Agree 100% I have the Arctis 7X as well. Great headphones, work on PS4, PS5, XBox oneX, Xbox Series X, and I use them on my Windows 10 Desktop computer as well. Comfortable even on my big head ! I may get these as a spare set !

Just bought the arctis 1 on another deal and have been loving them, couldn't beat the price at $50. Wondering if there's any major reasons to return and go up to the 7s? I'm using on PC and they've been great so far.

I have the wireless 1 and the original 7 (before they had playstation/xbox versions). If the 7x/7p is similar to the 7, it should add the separate sound devices for chat and system, with a chat/system volume balancer dial. This is useful if you use voice chat in multiplayer gaming to quickly dial in your chat volume to game volume balance.

The mute mic is a bit better on the 7. It has a small light when mute is on so you can see in the corner of your eye when in mute. And I prefer the push button mute (on 7) to the slide button mute on the 1 because it's easier to use tactile feel whether the mic is muted or not by feeling for a button bump vs checking if the slide button can slide anymore down
