If the controversy in the story has kept you from playing it, I would say to give it a shot. I'm a huge fan of the first game and I went in with low expectations. Personally I feel the controversy was deserved but on a technical level the gameplay is awesome. Watching an infected enemy's head pop at close range is great. Creeping through dark infested tunnels is great.

At this price it's worth it.

PS5 update appears to only bump fps from 30 to 60, no native PS5 version... so not taking full advantage unfortunately.

Unless someone is wanting to sell around as trade in or something , digital copy would be an better deal as it's same price on ps store.

Why, it give you copies to download on both ps4 and ps5 ( same ps4 version with update tho). Without messing with disc.

I have personally invested solely in discs till this point when I got ps5, I still buy disc but I perfer digital now mostly because I have two locations and I have kept my ps4 at home and ps5 at work home. So rather me messing around with discs or forgetting I have digital copy so I have same game on both consoles as only there both ps4 / ps5 copies.

Some games even give both consoles copy for 1 price, so I download ps5 version copy on ps5 and ps4 will download its ps4 copy.

I tried to disregard any negative/controversial comments before buying this game.

If you enjoyed TLOU, this $10 for TLOU2 is worth it.

Is it a perfect game? No, but for $10 the game play was good and was worth the price to satisfy my itch of what happens after TLOU.

Ragnarok would have been a 10/10 if it took the genius writing cues from this game. If Thor just showed up with an 8 iron and beat Kratos to death with it in front of Atreus who knows how good ragnarok could have been.

I thought this game was underwhelming to say the least. Very disappointing and the plot was horrible. Save your $ , I'm sure it will be free on playstation plus or premium soon if it's not already there.
