I seem to recall reading that the prices ending in .97 at Costco indicate a clearance price and my browser shows it was previously prices at $799.97. (I think it's some browser extension).

I already bought the LG pair from last week, but since it's not delivered yet, I've been keeping an eye out for a better deal. This is cheaper & parts might be easier & cheaper to get, but I'm sticking with the LG set. Thought I'd share for those looking.

This model does have an agitator. Triple action. Most of the washers listed on SD are lacking an agitator.

Only recently heard about the issue with having no agitators, until reading about them in another thread on SD. Years ago, I got a deal on a Fiskel & Paykel top loader that did not have an agitator. My ex-wife thought cleaned the clothes better than other washers she had used. I had it for quite a while and never had a problem with it, but later read lots of other people complained that same model broke down & repairs were expensive, so I haven't tried them since.
That sucks the manufacturer lied about the agitator having triple action when it has no action.
