Kenmore 4.2 cu. ft. Top Load Washer model 22352 and 7.0 cu. ft. GAS Dryer with Sensor Dry
model 75132 was previously priced at $799.97, now down to $599.97.

I seem to recall reading that the prices ending in .97 at Costco indicate a clearance price and my browser shows it was previously prices at $799.97. (I think it's some browser extension).

2-year Manufacturer's Warranty
Deep Fill option
Stainless Steel Wash Basket
SmartDry Plus technology
Wrinkle Guard

I already bought the LG pair from last week, but since it's not delivered yet, I've been keeping an eye out for a better deal. This is cheaper & parts might be easier & cheaper to get, but I'm sticking with the LG set. Thought I'd share for those looking.

If you bought this set within past 30 days, remember to seek a price adjustment.

If it doesn't have an agitator, it's junk.

Agreed

This model does have an agitator. Triple action. Most of the washers listed on SD are lacking an agitator.

Read the reviews. They call it an agitator, but reviews say it does not move the clothes like a regular machine because this is actually an HE. Reports from others that it does not even put enough water to completely cover the clothes. The lack of water means the detergent does not get washed out of the clothes either. So yes, it's the new top load HE junk that does a horrible job. Peace

We've been looking for months. Wife doesn't want front load because of the same reason. Whirlpool makes a top load with a removable agitator, but it's pricey and the reviews are similar. We bought a used older model on FBM for $125 for now. It washes great but the capacity is small. Won't fit large comforters. First world issues I guess.

I noticed some of those reviews and they did not mention having used the "deep fill option," so I wondered if the user realized they could do that for more water. I've heard the same thing about a lot of the HE washers where the autofill just doesn't provide enough water.

Only recently heard about the issue with having no agitators, until reading about them in another thread on SD. Years ago, I got a deal on a Fiskel & Paykel top loader that did not have an agitator. My ex-wife thought cleaned the clothes better than other washers she had used. I had it for quite a while and never had a problem with it, but later read lots of other people complained that same model broke down & repairs were expensive, so I haven't tried them since.

Oh gotcha.

That sucks the manufacturer lied about the agitator having triple action when it has no action.

Mine, my mothers, my brothers, my Girl Friend and pretty much everyone I know has a modern washer, without an agitator and our clothes get clean just fine.

Do you think that person who is thumbs down probably won't buy a car without a distributor?
