FYI: I just purchased the cheapest just "smart watch" from Amazon... Didn't even open the boxes... And got the full credit. They don't have the one I bought anymore, but something like this for < $10

I have an Amazfit BIP that's 6 years old. I messaged the Samsung chat expert to make sure it qualified, they said yes. I asked about the Xiao mi band 5 and they said no. just ask the chat person to confirm if your watch qualifies.

Also, this has been the trade values/enhanced credit for about a week now. There's another deal worth mentioning. If you purchase a renewed galaxy s20+(and others) you get a free galaxy watch 4. I believe the cheapest I got it down to was low $300s. These deals/values jump around alot. Probably only. Going to get better through out the next week or so.

Samsung's watches used to be the king of battery life. That changed when they switched to Google's WearOS. The Galaxy Watch3 I have lasts me 4-5 days on a single charge. I got a Watch 4 and returned it after a few weeks. I was having to charge it every day with the same settings I have on my Watch 3. I use my watch for sleep tracking, so charging it every night was a no-go. I haven't had a Watch 5, but I heard it's not much better. The Pro lasts a little longer. I'll have to upgrade at some point, since Samsung is abandoning the Tizen OS in my current watch. I'm thinking about getting the 5 Pro. I'll miss the great battery life and rotating bezel.

make sure you take good pics and video of your trade in. I sent a Samsung watch 3 as a trade in and they denied it because it wasn't reset. Good thing i made a video of the watch being reset before I sent it in. I got the denial overturned after a 15 min online chat, which wasn't too bad.
