FYI: I just purchased the cheapest just "smart watch" from Amazon... Didn't even open the boxes... And got the full credit. They don't have the one I bought anymore, but something like this for < $10

I have an Amazfit BIP that's 6 years old. I messaged the Samsung chat expert to make sure it qualified, they said yes. I asked about the Xiao mi band 5 and they said no. just ask the chat person to confirm if your watch qualifies.

Spot on from what I've been researching just now. I guess people are okay with charging everyday or every day and a half?

Honestly, sucks to say, But I guess I'll keep my $30 Gear Fit watch from 2014 (woot sale). Not having to charge for a week feels like a unicorn feature. Glad I didn't trade in yet. Even the lowest tier Watch5 with $75 trade is about $150. vs keeping a $30 watch that obviously lasts almost a decade on.

This has been going since launch of the 5. I sent in a Fitbit Alta HR that didn't work at all, still got $125 credit.

I got an educational discount and it showed me a MUCH lower price than it probably should have... before I hit continue then it showed another price, so I contacted Samsung's online support, and they had me send in a few screen shots, they must have agreed it was messed up, and they gave me the lower price... and I am turning in my Ticwatch E on top of that.
