Taxes and fees for CA brings this to $139.84, FYI. Works out to be about $11.65/month.
I've had ULTRA on one of my phones for 3+ years....never any issues at all.
Downside is that it's T-Mobile network.
30 days from the date of purchase

I don't doubt that, but to make sure you are correct about this: Do you have a link or reference that shows that T-mobile Connect plans are not deprioritized?

Added: By the way, my phone is 4G Moto G Power 2021 - does deprioritization apply equally and regardless of 5G vs 4G?

Thanks. I'll study that, incl. where the data comes from and if it is recent. It would be great if t-mobile themselves state it.
Although happy with Mint, I would be interested in switching to a t-mobile prepaid plan - if for nothing else, to (be able to) play the new-customer-only discount at Mint later - so maybe this will allow/cause me to do that.

I am currently using Mint, which also uses t-mobile's network (and also deprioritizes traffic when congested, I have read). Earlier this year when my Mint plan was up for renewal I stopped by a t-mobile store to inquire about switching to a t-mobile prepaid plan and thereby avoiding potential deprioritization. The guy told me that t-mobile prepaid plans ALSO gets deprioritized on the t-mobile network...

(Additionally, t-mobile's prepaid plans do/did not include international calling (I think it was an extra $15/month or so?) and I call one country in Europe weekly, which is either free or very cheap on Mint. So in the end I stayed w/ Mint.)
The Tmobile guy is spouting BS out of his mouth and simply doesn't wanna deal with prepaid customers. I have run the priority qci test on my phone myself using a rooted Android phone. QCI level is 6 just like most Tmobile postpaid plans. Go to Reddit nocontract subreddit and you'll see plenty of confirmation all Tmobile prepaid plans get same high priority.

If you're wanting to see that displayed on the Tmobile connect page, it's extremely subtle, basically there's a caption that says "during congestion, customers using >50GB per month may notice reduced speeds due to data deprioritization." so essentially all plans that are below 50GB have no deprioritization.

Thanks, will check reddit out.
May I ask: T-mobile Connect says "no international calling" (and think I saw you can add it for ~$15/month which would make it uninteresting to me). With "no international calling", and wifi-calling enabled, can one make an international call using wifi?

I need phone numbers to make Google accounts, and keep them active in case they lock me out.
Might get a couple of these phones.

You will be able to make calls to anyone back home via WiFi calling, you'll also be able to text. I did this myself while in Asia. You just won't be able to make calls to any numbers in the other country. For that I just used Whatsapp.

When I am in Europe I buy/use a local SIM card there - one reason is to be nice to my friends there, they often get charged to receive a call or text from my U.S. number.
How about calling Europe from the U.S - since the T-mobile Connect plan has "no international calling" will one be able to make an international call (from the U.S. to a foreign country) using wifi-calling?
https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage...al-calling says "...The $15 Stateside International Talk service gets unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling to 36+ countries, plus unlimited landline calling to 70+ countries..."

I'm not sure how wifi calling and purchasing the international talk service gets mixed together. I've never paid for that service.

I am asking about WITHOUT the international talk service - when a plan says "no international calling" can one make an international call (from the U.S. to abroad) using wifi-calling?
