I have this, first, this is a great price. But there are definite pros & cons. Works good on hard surfaces, I can't say how it works on carpet. The self empty is bagless, so that saves you money. The self empty actually works really well. I have yet to have the self empty clog & I have three dogs that shed like crazy. That being said, the vac itself can get occasionally bogged down with larger debris / hard objects. The bin is fairly small & not the best design.

The app is not so great, but it does allow you to set it up to go empty more often (30 min intervals). It does have a HEPA filter.

The vac cleans fairly well but mine has had a few issues. Tech support is awful. Promises call backs that never call back & try to get you to pay for shipping on a robot that is still under warranty.

At this price point my advice is spring for the warranty & give it a try. It's Amazon, they are good about returns if it doesn't meet your expectations.

One more thing, it's not really silver or gray. More like the color of a 1980's computer.

yeah, avoid Shark robots. They're terrible compared to the competition. I hated my Shark and love my Roborock.

I own a shark, after my ihome went kaput, and the app is very sub par. The ihome I could stop an area and direct the vacuum elsewhere or control it with my phone to a specific spot. Yeah both apps have a spot clean function but being able to force it to cleaning a spot it missed is nice. Before I could set it to clean an area and if I feel it's done I can route it to another area before being finished. The shark, notsomuch

Get the i3+ Evo that's also on sale rn for $350. Highly rated by multiple reviews online and has great product support. It has bags for the base, which is great for people with allergies. I have had it for a month now.

It has floor sensors, so it does map the room. Not just bumping around. For people with smaller places/apartments it will work just fine. Mine is 600ft and it's able to bee line straight to wherever i tell it to

Get the Roborock S7 or better if in your budget. I have the black self emptying Shark and it's decent. It has a short battery life and is pretty loud. Just got a refurb S7 and am kicking myself for not getting it sooner. You can set schedules for certain areas, which is 🔥. The cleaning schedule for shark makes u clean the whole house so you'd have to set a bunch of no go zones or manually clean certain rooms.

Spend the extra csh and go Roborock and thank me later

I am just waiting for obstacle avoidance to become more widely available. I just want LiDAR, obstacle avoidance, and a bagless base station with no mop.

I concur that shark is lacking based on my own experience. I have a shark model with empty station but no lidar. I have another model (kyvol) with lidar and empty station. The kyvol with lidar is more efficient, motor steps down on hardwood floors (quieter) app has virtual walls, no-go zones, very customizable mutli floor maps etc..
Go with a brand that has lidar. You will be happy you did, IMO.
Nothing against shark. I still vacuum with a full size model shark and love it.

+1 never had such an expensive electronic fail on so many fronts with such little use. Never again, Shark.

X2 for this review. I love ours. I believe it's the same as this but black…. It will get effed up if it runs over poop ha.

Also got ours for $250 last BF. Don't know if they'll come that low again with inflation
