Don't forget to add-in the cost of DDR5 versus DDR4 ram. More like another $200 when you factor this in for 32GB Ram (for example). Not sure it's worthwhile for the added speed unless you're doing a lot of compute-intensive work which can leverage the additional cores / speed. Might be better off to stay one revision behind and apply the extra $200 towards a better video card (especially if rendering or use of GPU cores is of interest). More to consider here than just cores / CPU speed. I built a system with the combo shared here in June, use it for Adobe Premier Pro video work (offload rendering to GPU - RTX3060ti), Adobe Photoshop, and Foresight Golf Simulator + Kinovea (2 sessions running) video capture with 2 high-rate FPS cameras recording / instant playback with four displays running. Not a heavy gamer but have found the system to be tremendously capable, still haven't maxed it out (32GB ram installed). Gamers would do better to bump the video card rather than spend the extra $$ on CPU. Just bought the same combo again today to build another system for a family member. Food for thought.
