Got this last year. Toe box is uncomfortable, and there's a ridge along the top that runs right across the end of the toes. Kind of lifts the nail up a little if you catch it just right.

I don't wear them for this reason.

How's the fit on Columbia shoes and boots normally? I wear a lot of Columbia clothing so I know it mostly runs very big but I haven't bought their footwear in probably 20 years.
I'm an 11 or sometimes 11.5 in adidas and Keen. I like the somewhat wider than average fit of most Keen's in the toe area. Debating on whether to get wides. Some regular shoes seem a little too narrow for me but I don't buy EEEE or extra-wide shoes.

I bought one of this last year, they are bulky, good for snow though.

Same experience. I barely used. Really bulky boots and hurts my toes.

These are a bit too heavy for my use. Although, Columbia makes a fantastic quality boot. I put on 20+ miles a day on them and they hold up for 6+ months.

I usually wear 11.5 in Adidas and Keen. Occasionally I might wear an 11 in Keen or in other brands. 11.5 in Columbias usually fit me well, although I have encountered a model or two that were a little narrow. While I generally prefer Keen because of their anatomical forefoot, I have found Columbias to be comfortable.

Thanks, that's the exact type of firsthand opinion on fit that I wanted. I just ordered a pair of Merrells but I may go ahead and order these Columbias anyway. I can pick whichever one I like best, or maybe keep 'em both. Don't really need both but I'll wear them out at work eventually anyway.

Pass. Sort by low reviews and almost all complaints are sole coming apart after light use and the tight toe box. Any reccomendations for a good snow boot?

These are probably ok if you are mostly sitting around outside and need to keep your feet warm. I wore them to work where I stand 10-12 hrs on average and they SUCK. I don't think they are made for a lot of activity.

I had a similar style barely worn 1 season and the the 'rubber' sole completely disintegrated the following year even with good storage. I don't think the brand quality has been up to par for 15+ yrs.
