Same, but at least it's only $2 total. The Extravaganzza hack:

Take your 2/$6.99 each deal, but before you pick your toppings, select the little red oval that says "make your pizza a specialty pizza for $3 more." This takes the 2-topping medium and turns it into a $9.99 fully customizable 8-topping. You can do this for both (or more) pizzas...

Edit for clarity: the red button is before you select the crust and toppings. When you click the 2/$6.99 deal, select "Pizzas" then click the red button before selecting your crust. The button actually says "Upgrade for only $3 more." Then select "Extravaganzza." After that, select "Yes, customize." Then select your crust and proceed as usual.

Not on topic, but am I the only one irked that they completely axed the $7.99 3-topping large? I would have much rather had them raise the price a buck or two. Nope. Just gone...

Oh well, at least the 2-fer Extravaganzza hack is still active.

so your Medium 8-top pizza cost $9.99 ?
right now, the same in Large cost $10 with their 50% off Menu price.

50% is usually better, yes. Depends on the individual store's prices. But my way can be done everyday. 50% off is usually good just a couple of days a year.

It is now a 1 topping large for $7.99. Add 2 toppings and there is the $2 extra you said you would pay.

Not in my area though. It makes it about $3 more. So now a 3-topping large is about $10.99-$11.49 for me. I'd rather drop to a medium and throw on 5 extra toppings with the Extravaganzza deal for $9.99 each.

Oh no. This is gonna make me fatter. I only was eating dominos for the customized when the quarterly 50% deals. Now that I know I can get close to that everyday....
