If this is the same one my son uses, it is very insulated and he still has ice in his water bottle after a 12 hour day (even in the summer).

reviews state the color/paint on the West Loop starts to scratch or chip after a while - that's why i went with luxe which looks like plain stainless steel

I just picked up west loop version from the store and on the bottle it does say "vacuum"

I really like Contigo, but the Cortland has a bottom plate that falls off easily. The plate fell off on one, but Contigo's warranty is fantastic so they sent another. Then the one in e replacement fell off. I don't think affects insulation capabilities, but it's annoying. Is it easily fixed with epoxy? Sure, but I shouldn't have to re-attach pieces.

I have a couple of the 24oz Cortland chill bottles. This is the version you want (2.0) with the locking mechanism.
The ice is still in there after being outside 12+ hours on a south Louisiana summer day.
I prefer these over our yeti cups because they are spill proof and keep ice just as long.
Best ones ive found yet, I'm in for 2 more!

It's been a long time since I have seen a deal this good on the Contigo 24oz bottles. I just bought one for everyone in the family for X-Mas.

I like Contigo, have many versions. I have this one as well, don't like the straw version. It seems to be a much slower flow of water.

For those deciding between the luxe and the West loop -

The luxe is labeled dishwasher safe, the west loop only the lid is dishwasher safe. if you put the west loop container part in the dishwasher the pair will chip or peel. The luxe is stainless steel so it can't peel.
