Nvidia not concerned about power efficiency... there is no practical gpu to use on battery... watts on laptops up 100% in 5 years, battery capacity.. NOTHING

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at Jerrod's vid and Dave2D, the 40xx line seems to be a much bigger jump in performance/power this time due to 4nm. If you don't need it, probably worth waiting if you can. I plan to now.

Comes at a performance hit... buy cheaper intel if you want ower consumption.. 12450 for ex..
