It's rated 2400mAh per battery, so effectively 4800 mAh per pair. So lasts MUCH longer in my experience than these 3p Li-ion.
Also, you could keep a pair readily charged to swap wherever the ones in use are about to die. Rinse and repeat.
I hate it when I pick up the controller and find it's low on battery and the only way is to play connected to a charging cable - at most times it's not feasible due to the couch not being closer to any power socket. This is where my XBox controllers (running AAs) trump my Stadia controllers (built-in Li-ion battery). Just sharing my 2c, but I totally get it if the other way works better for you and many others as there's a reason why Google and Sony decided to design their controllers with rechargable Li-ion battery.
