Common core math?
Try to make sure you're right before insulting someone.

It doesn't say spend $25 and get $5 off of that purchase. This is basically $5 off of a $30 purchase, or less than 17%.

This is a pretty bad look for Starbucks. Should at least be a free $10 card. $5 free for $25, lol. $5 free for $15-20 should be the norm.
I know but if I'm gonna spend money at Starbucks I might as well get the free $5

Tried this during the same promo last year and got screwed over because they had apparently already given out all the promo gift cards. Just a warning to anyone giving this a try.

Starbucks too pricey for me now, I had got one of those groupon 10.00 for 5.00 deals awhile back, I used it a couple weeks ago and got a large mocha frapp and a lemon bread. It came out to over 9.00 and they forgot to put chocalte syrup in the frapp.
I agree.

This is yet another example of underreported refreshment violence.

If you pay $25 for $30 of credit, it is indeed close to a discount if 17%... Obviously, if you buy more than that, then the discount is less. I'm not seeing the problem here.

In store only and requires living near a dollar general. I was able to get a few cards at one location but the closest location near me doesn't have the $25 cards that are discounted.
