Edit: $5 promo card was emailed to me. I expected it to just show in the app.

Not sure if this will be helpful to anyone. But I purchased the gift card from my wife's account and the purchased $25 gift card was sent to my email. The $25 went to my email and the $5 bonus went to my wife's email not the recipient. That might clear up some confusion.

The $5 is sent to the account holders email, so if you send as a gift to another email that person does not receive the bonus, you do! 👍😂
