I don't think it works that way.

On this car charger, you could simultaneously charge one of them super fast via the 25W USB-C port, and the other one via the USB-A port (with a USB-A to lightning cable or a USB-A to C cable), which isn't terrible but isn't fast charging.

Or you could look for a more powerful charger like this Spigen 75W which has dual USB-C ports but doesn't support PPS, so you won't get maximum fast charge speed on the Galaxy or Pixel. However it is a good deal at $23 and could handle even a Macbook.

I'm less familiar with Scosche but they are an American company with some chargers sold at Costco, and they have this 60W dual charger for $33.43 [amazon.com] which supports PPS and would be the perfect specs for simultaneously charging two of the latest phones.

There are cheaper no-name [amazon.com] PPS options as well, but I'm not inclined to recommend saving a few bucks on a generic chinese-import power supply for your sensitive $1,000 hardware.

I would go with the $10 one. How often are you going to need a fast charge in the car?

I'm glad you found this helpful. Mobile phone manufacturers don't seen very interested in educating their customers about their power options. They just hope you'll buy their branded chargers, which are usually overpriced.

For what is worth, I'm more than happy with this $15 option in my old car. It will deliver a super fast charge when needed on my Pixel 7 Pro, and on those occasions when my wife is in the car and needs a charge on her Pixel, she can use the slower connection, or borrow the faster one.

The car would be the ideal place to fast charge. Unless it's a long drive, you would want to get the most charge before you have to unplug and leave the car. Just the fact that you have to charge when you're in your car means you'll know that where you're going you'll need a higher charge or you won't be able to recharge for a while.

Buying this one instead. I already own one, but P2 needs one for her car, and this deal made me check whether the price has come down at all. Sure enough, I paid ~$20, and she's getting it for $13.

95W PD3.0 PPS 45W 25W Super Fast Charging Dual USB C Car Charger QC3.0 30W.

I saw those EHO chargers (linked to one of them above as a comparison and looked up the company [ehohome.com] to see if there is a warranty,). They look tempting but there are reviews suggesting some units didn't last more than a few months with no recourse from the company. They do indeed appear to be great deals. Just YMMV in terms of lasting and support. How long have you had yours?

Bought mine back in July. Zero issues. Brought it on one roundtrip. Otherwise, it's stayed in the car. Maybe that's a case of the cheaper one versus the one I bought.

I think any time that you're in the car and moving to another destination where you can't charge might be a good scenario...

I don't think I've ever read something so beautiful on here, just purchased that $33 dual usbc charger I used to have a car with a home wall outlet style plug with I used a 20w apple fast charger my new car no longer has that option so I'm in for this new treat. Thank you !

That depends on your needs. It's apples and oranges.

This charger has only one USB-C port, but it supports PPS (Programmable Power Supply) charging, and the USB-C port delivers 25W.

The Anker is an older model that does not support PPS or 25W charging, but has two 20W USB-C ports. If you have two phones that don't utilize PPS and max out at 20W, then the Anker is superior. OR, if you don't require the fastest charging, but frequently have two phones that you want to charge at decent speeds, then the Anker may be a better choice.

Thanks for the helpful info!

Could the anker 50w car charger (30w+20w), charge a lenovo t480s laptop that has a usb c charger but normally uses 65w wall charger?
