EDIT: It looks like it only lasted 1 day on amazon. It is now 500 bucks.

This is actually cheaper on amazon $317, free shipping if you are a prime member, and for me at least, next day delivery. ended up saving $20 bucks or so.

What can 2200 watts power? Seems a bit more for like a camp site stuff than any heavy lifting, no?

Of course, coincidence has it that someone named chivas would also reply. taking a long shot here but is it because of las chivas rayadas de guadalajara? lol

to answer your questions, pretty much yes. an RV generator. But good for emergencies as well. you can keep some appliances running like a small fridge, internet equipment, TV, laptops, phones, up and running without any issues with 1800 watt generator.

Inverter appliances have changed my entire generator demand. I'm now in the market to replace my 5500/8500 Craftsman with an inverter around 2600/3600. Looking at the Wen open frame one. Thoughts? https://a.co/d/59yy4IS

It would be fine for a camp site but it'll also serve well (perhaps ideal) for an emergency/power outage and no it won't run your 5 ton ac or your whole home electric furnace but it will run all the lighting throughout your home, 3 refrigerator, charge all your batteries, run your cpap, window ac, tv and computer. I had my 1500 watt generator running 2 full size freezer plus full size refrigerator and had plenty of power left.

This is not a whole home 12000 watt generator that will use 6+ gallons in 12 hours this will only use 1 gallon, how much gas do you want to store?

That looks like a nice option but it lacks a 240V receptacle. What type of appliances and are you planning to connect to your home?

I recently bought a Wen 2k generator and I'm fairly impressed but QC isn't top notch.

I should have said specifically all 120v stuff. I wouldn't mind having a 240v outlet but see that the prices go up pretty high. I'm not fancy, just going to run 12awg extension cord to some ACs and fridge, maybe a planned microwave or electric griddle run.

I don't have an RV but, since I live in a community where the houses are VERY close to one another, I like how these inverter gens are quieter than open frame. This posted one is probably adequate but I think I'll go with something more in your power range but not open frame so I don't piss off the neighbors! Really would just run lighting, a fridge, sump pump, freezer, charge phones and laptops, portable room heater when needed.

I'm over here thinking omg we will need AC if the power goes out (FL) and I forgot there are applications for heat as well north of here 😄

Bummer it's gone. I would love a smaller suitcase, but the Honda is just too much. Deal no good anymore. Fine fast.
