Don't count on the rebates. I've been burned the last 2 years where they deny at least one or multiple of the rebates. I mailed everything individually and documented everything and it was still denied. Won't do these deals again.

These rebates are often denied or paid out at a lower amount, but if you live chat with them they will usually fix it pretty easily.

All these low-priced appliances are made by Chinese OEMs for different brands under license. Massive contribution to electronics waste.

you know, most of it is. However, the immersion blender they make (I use it for soap making) functions better than the 40$ Cuisinart one I bought. I bought two of the toastmaster ones and the other one is still in storage after four years.

We have a bunch of these things in our vacation rental. So far none have failed and get used by guests on and off.

They are nothing fancy, but a nice thing to add to the kitchen. The little slow cooker gets used a lot and we have one at home. Great for small dips and the like.

They aren't great, but for $5 they aren't bad at all.
