I think the "Extreme" is just the Best Buy model. You won't find it anywhere other than Best Buy. All else equal.

The "extreme" is identical to the base model on their website. So no LCD animation and no suction only model.

Ordered one. Seems like "Extreme" is the BestBuy model of the "Pro". It has a suction only mode. The only difference between this and the Pro is the display. The Pro has an animated display, this one doesn't, according to the reviews.

The listing says it does have a suction mode but we'll find out! I ordered one but it got delayed and won't come until Fri

I believe the two differences between the Pro 2 & Extreme are that the Pro 2 has LCD animations (as indicated above) and has an ultra mode that electrolyzes water for what the manufacturer calls a deep clean that doesn't require the use of cleaning solution. The Extreme does not have those two things. It is hard as heck to find out the differences between the S5 models. I looked everywhere to find this info.

I was hoping for a good Black Friday deal on the Pro 2, but it's still in the high $400 range. Am going with the Extreme from BB as I can live without the two extra features.
