Apple's current offering is a revised model with more rounded corners (to match the current keyboards) and a noticeable but not drastically larger area. I don't know of any functional differences, though.

Wow, where did they dig up new stock of the original trackpad? That hasn't been in production for years! Good thing it doesn't have a built in battery (uses AA instead).
