This is seriously overkill if your computer won't be able to run anything at 1440p 165Hz
Thanks for your feedback. So I have a Risen 5 5600 32gb, and AMD Radeon 6600 what monitor do you suggest?

Odyssey G7 and g8 are VA panels and blow all the IPS shit contrast and light bleed machines out of the watter
Confirmed. My g7 image is better than my ips 34" LG

edit. I paid twice as much for the g7 for the same size and res as this so even thou this very likely inferior for the price is good i would say.

I have a low-mid tier gaming rig with a 6600 Radeon video card. Just wanted to ask if this is okay with it? Also planning to use it for work(spreadsheets and stuff)
You may want to also consider curved displays with similar refresh rate, for this much screen real estate (32" and up).

Thanks. I got it but I still don't understand the difference between IPS and VA.
IPS has better color and no ghosting issues. VA has deeper blacks

IPS has better view angles. If you play with one primary monitor right in front of you, then it doesn't matter. I have dual monitors and so both of them are always slightly slanted, so IPS would be better. Also for laptops you generally want IPS because you never know where you'll be, on a chair with it on your lap or too high or too low, so the view angle helps. Other than that, everything else is negligible if you don't notice. Like I'm not very sensitive to "color accuracy" so I don't pay a lot for that. Heck my 34" ultrawide is 1080p and I still love it its nice and sharp for me.

Thank you I'd have to go look into these terms some more.

Thanks for the feedback. I also think I'm not sensitive to these deeper blacks and what not being a casual gamer and all. I plan on using it also as a monitor for work I have 2 curved FHDs and 1 ultrawide connexted to a dock for work then all three are also connected to my desktop gaming. I might dedicate this one to my desktop/personal laptop (MacBook Air m2)

I got lucky and got this monitor for $200 last week at GameStop.

More than one employee price matched it with Walmarts gn600 model. My guess is they just saw the pic and half the description so they didn't care. The only catch was that I had to order the monitor online and take it in store for a return/rebuy.

VA or IPS most people aren't going to care or really notice a major difference. I went into Micro Center to look at the difference between ALL the monitors on sale everywhere this season and the difference is really negligible between VA and IPS what's more important is the features and ergonomics imo

So the only difference between these and the Walmart $200 deal is the swivel stand?

Hi. I already have 2 32 inch FHD curved monitors already. My 3rd monitor is a LG ultrawide and that's what I was going to replace this with. Uhmm.

Why is it always 1440p? Why not 4k? What is the response time 1ms or 5ms?

any1 trust Amazon Warehouse. They have a few for $185. Should I assume those would have dead pixels, most likely ppl returned those units?
