FWIW, I've ordered Apple gift cards from Amazon several times without issues. Just load them into you Apple account the second you get them.

They said the same thing for an occulus promo last year. Still never received that code. Filed and got a case ID. They eventually told me it never existed despite it being on the news lol. Remember to take screenshots etc. You will need all proof you can get.

Tried 10 min after receiving e-gift card by e-mail with a "sold by and shipped from Amazon.com" item, and no promotional credit yet.

Same. These kind of credits haven't been reliable lately, and screen shots are worth saving

Mine showed up right away. Unless there is a better way (I'm using the app), I added a sold and shipped by Amazon item in the cart that was more than $15 promotional credit. Went to payment and the slider to select promotional credit said I had $15 that could be applied. Tried with lesser priced item but it only tells you how much can be applied not remaining balance.

Amazon is really lousy in doing promo credit. It is hard to make sense out of this craziness unless you believe they do it intentionally.

It is hard to see if the promo is applied during check out.

There is no confirmation or mentioning of the promo in your order confirmation or invoice.

The instruction is confusing (at one place it asks you to type promo code, and another place it says automatically applied to qualifying order).

"How to claim
Add items from the products below to your Cart using the Add to Cart button or select See Options for specific product variations.
When you're done shopping, select Go to Cart.
The offer will automatically be applied at checkout, if eligible."

If this is anything like that GC snafu from October, the promo credit won't show up in your inbox for a day or two with some of these.

I can't understand why Amazon has such a difficult time with promo credits like this.

Does anyone know how Promo Credit works vs traditional Amazon Gift Card?

Since the $15 Promo Credit expires in Jan 2023, how do I make sure I can use THAT money first before any of my remaining Amazon GC that isn't supposed to ever "expire"? Are they different options when you go to checkout?

(I too am waiting to receive the promo credit as well so I will wait the 3 business days).

Promo credit will always be applied first, and if I remember correctly, is always applied on eligible orders and can't be removed.
