Does it work with s22 ultra?
This is for DSLR camera that support up to 10.14 lb loads.
This Gimbal by itself is probably around 4 lb with battery. You probably want much smaller and lighter weight gimbal for smartphone even if it is possible to add some attachment to use with smartphone.
So how often people use this kind of Gimbal on their DSLR and what they use it for? In normal activities like school sport or school music performance, etc, I rarely see anyone holding this kind of big gimbal. More likely see tripod/monopod and not gimbal. And for family vacation/traveling trip, also people likely travel light and I assume people don't bring this kind of big gimbal(?)

You want a tripod/monopod for shooting stills. A Gimbal like this comes in handy for shooting smooth video.

I think you mean shooting action video since people use tripod for field marching band performance, indoor band performance, etc.
Again, I just don't see a lot of school event/travel/vacation usage of people holding this kind of gimbal walking around. So wonder what people use them for and how often. Specially how often they use it each year and if it is worth it. May be only for special occasion like wedding, etc?

Sorry yes, I think their target market is "creators" here at the moment.
Tripods are excellent for shooting video from a fixed location. I should have been more clear. This is for the run-n-gun DSLR on a pole product shot or moving action cinematography.
In for one... They have an extended return policy as well so it will give me a chance to contemplate the life choices ive made because of this site lol
Had a gimbal on my holiday wishlist (was leaning toward Dji rs3), but at this price, I'll bite! In for one! Thx op!
DJI RS3 is only 2.2lb (with built-in battery) and Feiyu AK4500 is 3.66 lb without battery so is even more heavier.
I think once you start using it, if it is too heavy and you rarely use it or can't use it for too long compare to RS3, then what's the point of cheaper? If you don't mind the 70~80% of extra weight (when include battery), then I guess may be ok.

gimbals like these are used primarily by content creators who create cinematic vlogs as well as for aspiring film makers who are just getting their feet wet into filmmaking.
a gimbal comes in handy for whenever you don't need a static video shot... really not that hard to grasp. it's called image stabilization...

Thanks for the info. I'm not too concerned about the weight.. but I will keep it in mind if it becomes an issue
