I bought this and while it works reasonably for oranges, harder fruits like apples and persimmons have lot of wastage. And mine got stuck and started smoking where the plastic completely tore off the bottom part of the cup near the blades. Be warned and don't overdo it with this!

Yeah good for a starter and reasonably easy to cleanup afterwards. I would invest in containers you could freeze, as you may juice more than you can drink within 72hrs. Also find recipes that can use the pulp, like cookies, waffles, or homemade dog/pet treats.

you dont find the omega horizontal masticating juicer a good deal for 68 bucks?
I just need one for celery as I have the omega vertical masticating juicer and it doesnt take celery unless you chop
