Seems like a pretty decent deal depending on what you're looking for.

Amazing deal.

FYI, for those interested, here's a good review video showing the general performance you can get with this laptop.

https://youtu.be/nN_8Kjr7idw

EDIT: Review is for 16 gigs of ram and this deal is for 8 gigs of ram. However, adding one extra stick of 8gb ram is super cheap and easy. So, the video shows the potential you can achieve with this laptop.

Good review, but note that the reviewer's unit had 16GB RAM, this one is advertised with 8GB.

True. That said, adding an extra 8 gigs is super cheap and easy. I'll edit my comment so it's more clear.

Would it support a 16gb stick, having a total of 24?

Video above say it does, lenovo specs say max is 8, now I'm even more curious if even a 32 GB ram would work

Memory Slots:
One memory soldered to systemboard, one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot, dual-channel capable
Max Memory:
Up to 16GB (8GB soldered + 8GB SO-DIMM) DDR4-3200 offering

Great overall specs... difficult to find a laptop with this specs and touch screen at $400

My reason for this is portability so I would go for ryzen, easier to cool and better battery

Please share opinions about which to go for between the lenovo laptop and the dell 3511 deal link belo

https://slickdeals.net/f/16204894-dell-inspiron-3511-15-6-touch-laptop-intel-core-i5-8gb-memory-256g...
First off, that dell is using an 11th gen intel processor. So last year's model. Intel is on 12th gen now. The 12th gen equivalent to that is the i5-1235u.

Here's a good comparison between all three. (i5-1135G7 vs i5-1235u vs 5625u)
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/comp...en-5-5625U

As you can see, it's a fairly big difference in scores. Keep in mind that this is measuring their full potential. If you're just web surfing relatively simple websites, you might not see too much difference. That said, this ryzen 5625u is a much better bang for your buck especially with better graphics performance and battery life. (at least for this generation)
