FYI, this does not take charge via USB c. Otherwise, a perfect laptop for the price.

That is a huge red flag.
Great price on this - the lowest it's been recently is on amazon at 899 and that's a clearance sale I think. New versions of the Vivobook release this month look to mostly replace this line, but with faster refresh (120hz) and a properly centered touchpad, which means I'm sitting this sale out. But it's a good price if you don't care, or want the touch screen feature (kind of useless I think, since it's not a convertible form-factor, and can't even lay flat).

Damn this one really checks the boxes for me. OLED 400nits screen, RTX gpu, under $750. So hard for me to make a decision on a laptop.

What is the better buy for someone who's not a heavy (but medium) gamer? This one or the Gigabyte A5 K1 from Newgg? https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16834233534

I'm in the same boat. I think I care more about a better screen, so compromising on the 3050ti instead of full power 3060 sounds like what I'm going to do.

This only has wifi 5 ac and it can't be upgraded and is making pause on this deal. Any thoughts if that is a problem otherwise this appears to be a fantastic deal.

Underpowered GPU and heavy. But looks professional. Wish it was around 600-650.

It's a gamer adjustment to not have the left wrist not hit the TouchPad. WASD are direction keys usually
