I can't believe people are giving you a hard time for buying these as donations. Next they will be telling you it only counts if you knit them yourself. Kudos for doing a nice thing for the holidays.
I've been waiting for this deal to come up. I've made it an annual tradition to purchase as many as I can and donate them to churches, shelters, etc.
They need new durable items like everyone else. Also, many who solicit for the donations request new.

i'm a dude don't know this brand at all. maybe i live under a rock. is this a good brand? even if it's $5 I don't want to gift trash. what kind of quality should i expect? there's no reviews for the items i looked at.
