I ordered last night and still hadn't received my gift cards this morning so I used the customer service chat. The rep assured me that it was processing and it could take up to 48 hours and if I still hadn't received them by then to contact them again. I received my email with the gift cards about an hour after the chat ended.

You can add the gift card as your on-board credit. You can use it to pay gratuities, merchandise, alcoholic beverages, excursions, etc. Whatever isn't used is put back on to that specific gift card. If the bill surpasses the gift cards/onboard credit, the rest will be charged to your credit card on file

They used to do one day passes, but added 10% to it. BJs has $100 gift cards for $94 for today so it would cost $3 for $200. The good news is you can get a one day shopping pass to buy them if you want to do that.
