Edit: disabled pihole and it worked
It is replaceable. Have to open the bottom of the unit in order to replace it. I found at least one video showing how it's done.
I don't think it's "user serviceable" in APC's view, like some of the larger ones. However, after the warranty period (3 years!) it looks rather easy to replace the battery if needed.
