For anyone unaware, the kf doesn't have integrated graphics. I also believe it can not be over locked and just the K series can. A great buy if you don't need either.
I think that is incorrect.
K= ability to overclock
F=no integrated graphics
KF=ability to overclock without integrated graphics.
Kf could be a downside vs k, because k could be useful to use integrated graphics for troubleshooting.
I was pretty set on i5ā13600k, but this price has tempted me enough to pull the trigger on the i7. Upgrading from i5-4690k from 2014, so this should last awhile
price to performance, bang for buck, the i5-13600k still wins there though

Why is it not worth the price? Let's start, https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...5886vs4134, by comparison with the i5-13600k, it is ranked 3 and 6 accordingly, only 6% faster average score and 7% faster overclocking. $380 to $280 at micro center, that is $100 more, plus taxes also on eBay. And if you are patient, you can you get the Z790-Plus TUF Gaming WiFi D4 motherboard free at micro center when they have the promotion, which comes often, for $300. That is why is not a good price, and since it doesn't have an integrated GPU, the i7 should be cheaper.

Aorus Z690 AORUS ULTRA Gaming from eBay antonline
Picked that mobo because has bios flashback feature possibly needed for 13th gen cpus on z690s to work, unless have an old cpu for this socket to update bios

You're assuming people live close to a micro center, which can't be the majority from my understanding

I don't think from what I've seen amd has anything that beats it at this price.
