Lol, this is audiophile level IEM. It's like you going to a thread that has 50% off on A5 Kobe beef, and go "zomg, $60 for a pound WTF, are people actually this stupid!!???". It's ok for you to not be knowledgeable about it, this deal isn't for you.

yeah these are past that point of where you're like, okay first, just physically, how much metals/plastics/rubbers/research&development/whatevers are in here to justify the cost, and secondly, is my hearing intact enough as an average adult who has gone to some concerts, to be able to hear the difference

Anyone know if anyone makes a durable mmcx cable with a mic? I just warrantied out my 4th rmce-uni in just over 2 years. I wish shure made a kevlar version of their mic cable.

Yeah, at there point that they've developed this great sound, do they materially cost that much more to make than speakers that cost $100-$400 less? Or even $700+ less at full retail.
