Aer is popular in the one bag community, personally not a fan of the weight though.

Agree, a jack of all trades, but a master of none bag. For anyone considering this, it is a great bag if you must have a all-in-one, but you'd do much better with two separate bags designed with a specific purpose.

Amazing. I've got so much Aer gear and they all look brand new still despite beating them up. Brought them on so many international trips.

I have no doubt it's comfortable, but only concern re: weight is when you try to use it as a carry-on. If you're a one-bagger that 1 or 2 pounds could be used elsewhere.

I got a peak design bag similar to this and agree. It's a great bag but damnit, the bag itself is already 4 pounds. And though it might not sound like a lot, when you're walking around with it, it starts to feel heavy quickly when even slightly loaded. Have you found that bag that actually works for 1-2 pounds though? I never was able to find one.

I'm by no means an expert one-bagger but I've been using a Gregory Border 35 I bought in 2017 for ~$150. It doesn't have all the features but I've kept it in good shape and only weighs 2.14 lbs.

Has anyone had luck getting the AER TP3 Small by as a Personal Sized item on flights?

Trying to find a great bag for One Bagging on quick trips without paying the baggage fees that cost as much as the flights now.

Will this fit under seat in most airlines, or is this firmly an overhead bag?

I carry the TP1 and I think it's bigger and I bring it all the time on flights
