I've had terrible luck with Home Depot price matching anything over the last 2 months or so. Earlier this week I tried to get them to price match a local tool dealer and they instantly said no. That they only basically price match Lowe's, Amazon direct, and Best Buy. I then asked them doesn't that mean you don't price match Milwaukee tools since those retailers don't sell it and they said yes, lol. My guess this is still YMMV but it seems I'm getting mostly no these days.

I tried it out, with their 3.0 battery deal you get free shipping. The email for their confirmations looks weird but everything else looks legit, people state on Reddit they've used them for years with good results

I tried to buy 2 packs of those Milwaukee 3.0 batteries on sale. I made it all the way to checkout and put my card info in. It processed and then came back error. Im highly suspect here so I need to keep an eye on my card now

It depends on the individual. Goto one in the inner city. They don't give a crap and will just do it.
