You have to use your Apple Watch charging cable. Why would it charge slower than any other USB plug that you'd plug your stock cable into?

This doesn't have PPS PD or regular PD, so won't charge most devices at more than 10W. Still a good deal, if you just want it as a nightstand charger that you only use to charge your devices overnight.

While normally Monoprice makes good products, there are only 7 reviews and they look bad.

Looks like a great price, but slow charging = overnight use only. Plus, Monoprice's quality has been very hit-or-miss.

It is the deal breaker. I checked the data sheet and it is indeed 2.5W for apple watch, I think it is due to their USB-A output. Of course, if you want to use your own charger, it will be faster.

One thing I've found with these chargers is an issue with how the iPhone optimized battery charging. I had one that I used for charging my watch and phone overnight. Whenever the optimized battery charging kicked in (at about 85%) the charger itself would shut off. Then the phone sensed it was attached to a magnetic charger and kicked on to start charging again. Although it worked 75% of the time, this cycle would often drain my phone battery overnight, rather than charge, and I would wake up with a nearly dead or actually dead phone. I use it now at my desk to keep my phone propped up and topped off, but I reverted back to genuine Apple chargers for overnight use. Just a heads-up.
