The app itself isn't terrible, but it's not great either - there's the Roborock official app that is quick and responsive, but not very flexible. You can also use the MiHome app and it's a bit more powerful and easy to setup, but it's got a very sluggish UI.

I was a little dubious of it at first, but the mop function is nice to keep the kitchen floors looking nice between elbow-grease moppings.
I haven't tried a ton of them, and it does seem like a robust self-contained app, but that doesn't mean it couldn't use improvement
