This is a very good interface for beginner, and it is
far superior than TC-Helicon GO SOLO which is listed in another front page deal. It is REAL latency-free.

you can also check sweetwater's eBay store for the same price, if you have Amex $5 off $15 offer.

But that isn't how multitrack recording is supposed to work. Pretty much the only things that should be recorded in stereo are drums and maybe synth. I record all in mono expect drums myself, then add stereo processing in the DAW for stuff that needs it. Oftentimes DAW plugin effects will add stereo components to the output. But your source recordings should be clean mono, otherwise you lose out on a lot of power a DAW gives you, plus your ability to mix properly.

It should, I can confirm that the solo definitely works with the deck, should be similar/identical situation here.
Yep works on pc. Preamps are the same as the GOXLR, I personally went from a Scarlett solo 2nd gen to the GO SOLO because my Scarlett was occasionally crashing and having weird audio glitches.

Also it kept power cycling when the input signal got a little loud.
Works great as a phantom preamp for microphone tho, I use it to connect my behringer c2 for zoom calls and I'm told it sounds good.

Also hearing people say that it doesn't record in stereo. So your mic will be on one side, your guitar/track will be on the right.
Can anyone else confirm this?

I included both sites in my post. BTW, eBay description also mentions 2-year warranty. So eBay is preferred if you have Amex offer, or have eBay GC to burn.

Yes, I read some reviews and can confirm that their mini USB connector is different even the shape is the same. So if you lose it, you'd better buying a new unit instead of purchasing a cable for it (expensive and difficult to find). (SOLO is just $19, LOL)

I do not have any knowledge about recording, but I agree with you… people will need some software to mix the tracks…algorithms will create the spatial feeling.
