If you buy this AFTER December 31st it should qualify for a tax credit since it is 3000w . A credit is basically the same as the government buying it for you . That credit doesn't apply until Jan 1, 2023

someone else had posted a link to the new law and the section of the new law dealing with units like this one was effective 1/1//23. As of that date 3kw and above units like this one were eligible for tax credit. So I had to find the old law to see what that section of the statute said. That section of the old law (current law until New Years) that was changed by the new law referred to something entirely different. So until the new law takes effect there is no tax credit for any device like this .
