Just picked up one of these. Looking back at older sales it looks like these will be out of stock pretty quickly. The listing says 2021 model so these should be the original LG panels. Excellent reviews overall.
Thanks for posting OP!

Missed it last time, crossing fingers for LG panel

Edit: can anyone confirm 120hz @ 1440p on Xbox series x? I know it can do higher hz, but say year old reviews saying it had issues. Thanks!

I picked one up during the last sale. It has the LG panel in it and was made in 2022. Overall it's been fantastic for gaming. The only weakness is that it's backlighting is very imprecise. A white cursor on a black screen lights up almost a quarter of the screen a little gray. Colors are phenomenal and the refresh is great if you can push it though!

Anyone know how to keep these HP monitors at the mode you previously set it in? Always ends up back in "Gaming" but I want it to remain in "Native" mode.

Worth it , I got the boe panel which doesnt have as good of reviews , it took some playing with the colors but got it looking nice . For 170 it's a no brainer .

There are feedbacks recently that some batches are manufactured with BOE panel(BIM111) which is inferior. I cancelled my order after reading recent reviews on Amazon

IIRC, the culprit is the auto-starting of the HP Omen app. You have to disable that.

I believe it's because it doesn't use true local dimming, it only works vertically

I'm never buying another HP monitor again, I bought a 32in QHD model last year and the VESA mount is absolutely AWFUL. The mount is at the base of the monitor instead of in the center and the bracket is held in place by one janky thumbscrew. If I even look at it funny it starts to wiggle and threaten to come crashing down. Horrible.
