Still feel the XM3 is the better bang for the buck. I use APT-X HD and it's crystal clear. But for those who want multi-device connect, XM5 does have that as well as benefits of Bluetooth 5.X.

I have the XM4s which are almost universally hailed as the best headphones in recent history and I prefer my earbuds over them 9 times out of 10... These sound great and have excellent ANC, but I can't imagine using them for anything other than travel or watching a movie when the kids are sleeping.

Secondipity is a well established reseller of refurbished Sony headphones. Deals for the previous gen XM4 have been posted on Slickdeals several times, and most people have been happy with their purchase, me among them. I bought a pair, looked brand new, and with the exception of a generic box, came with all the OEM accessories including carrying case. Did have an off putting smell to them, but nothing some disinfectant cleaner and airing out did not fix.

They have their own re-selling website now (though their sale prices on ebay are usually cheaper):
