Microcenter have the refurbished 2021 LG C1 77" OLED television for $1699.99
Previous deal was $1899. This is lowest for a refurbished 77" OLED.
I purchased it when it was $1899 and used my Microcenter credit card and saved 5%.
I absolutely love this tv. It's massive if you're coming from a 65".
I bought a C1 77'' refurbished from MC this Feb. from a post like this. Bought the 4yr warranty because the sales rep said it covered burn in and I was scared from all the comments here about it. One week later I found out that MC does not cover Burn-In in any of their warranties. I went back to the store pretending to be a new customers and asked about the Burn-In warranty while recording the audio on my phone in my pocket. He assures me they cover it, I show the screenshots of my convo with MC online customer service saying they DON'T, I speak to the manager who confirms they don't and that the sales rep has been giving false info. I got a refund from the extended warranty.
Four months later, 70hr of run-time use (I was busy with work), and the TV gets this WHITE-BRIGHT vertical line of dead pixels when running all. the. time. More lines show up next to it with the next following days, nobody hit or moved the TV since the day it arrived. I speak to MC who says I'm F'd & gonna be down $2k. I say ok and buy another 77''. I take the backpanels off to "examine them" and return the "New" TV (btw there was a dead stink bug inside the box, I have pics). Everything is well for a few months, Elden Ring comes out, I start playing it on the TV and this 2 inch black shadow column shows up in the middle of the screen. Luckily it, it clears up with Pixel Cleaning feature, but it shows up everytime you game for 4-7hrs. Aside from that, BEAUTIFUL TV.
I sold the TV at a big loss to someone who didn't mind the issue as he doesn't game. I just ordered the S95B directly from Samsung today to fill that empty void in my livingroom.
MC Refurbished screwed me up 2x with this very same C1 77 OLED and fed me wrong info (I got the audio to confirm) on its warranty. I'm sure the sales rep had no wrong intentions and I do enjoy doing business with MC but man this has become almost a year long hassle.
Thread. With. Absolute. Care.
I've learned a huge lesson about Risk.
(but the burn in I was looking out for ironically never happened)
The wife's about to be very mad 🤣
I bought this last time - TV was perfect but was missing the screws to put it in the stand and remote. Microcenter reduced the price another $100 which I used to buy an extended warranty.
TV has been perfect - life changing versus our previous 65 in lcd.
For all those worried about their wives reaction, once they see the TV in action they'll approve.

On the website it isn't offered, but it is available in the store. I ended up getting an open box at Costco a few months ago for this same price. Can't recall what the extended warranty at MC runs, but guessing around $300.
Someone will probably ask if the MC warranty covers burn in...salespeople will tell you yes, but fine print says no. The warranty covers accidental damage, so if you get burn in the TV may unfortunately also suffer an accidental drop.

I'm sure you could add a SquareTrade/Allstate warranty
I never buy them for new products.
